WILD Photography is the venture of AMY BREWER,
a 27 year old Animal Welfare student and Amateur Photographer.
'I studied photography at A-Level standard and continued to pursue it as a hobby after leaving education. Wildlife photography was always the area in which I wanted to focus on, primarily because I have been a huge animal lover my entire life and work in the sector, but also because I relish in the fact that when photographing animals you have to be in the right place at the right time, you have to have patience, an understanding of how to predict an animal's movements and behaviour and best of all, you get to witness some of nature's most beautiful occurrences first hand, and document them for eternity.
My favourite subjects have to be Big Cats, particularly Sumatran Tigers, and over the years I've enjoyed learning their behaviours and relishing every chance I get to capture a piece of their existence! I don't have a great camera, only a Nikon D3200.. But I enjoy it, and that's what matters!
Currently my best achievement to date is featuring on the front cover of FEAST Magazine and having a 5 page spread within. My hobbies include singing, gaming and spending time with my boyfriend and 30 pets! As for jobs - my long term career goal would be to have a wildlife rescue.'
